I owe you one is a story of fixie and her siblings. How she handles everything when her mom is away. Will she able to fix everything?.It’s a story of Ryan whom she is in love with. Will he accept her love?

The plot of the story is interesting with twists and turns. The narration of the story is crisp and engaging. The author tries to keep the reader hooked throughout.

The pace of the story is a bit slow. The writing style of the author is witty. The dialogues and drama keep the reader invested in. There are times when the story gets a bit tedious with too many details. Themes like family, love, loss, friendship are seen here.

I loved how the author explored brother and sister’s relationship. It was wonderful reading about them. I loved the second half of the story. It had an exciting element in the last few chapters.

The Characters that the author built are strong and appealing. I fell in love with Seb’s character from the very first mention about him. I quite did not like Fixie’s character. The way the author portrayed every character, every emotion is commendable. All the characters had their charm.

The language used by the author is simple and crisp. The writing style of the author is Witty and Lucid. I loved the way the author sequenced the events. The storyline of the book is impressive. The humour, the emotions are well expressed by the author.

Overall it’s a good book with an amazing plot and crisp writing style.

Sounds interesting! Somewhat different from her chick-lit – is this one geared towards younger readers! It’s been a while since I’ve read one her books!

  3. Samarpita Sharma

I love her books but haven’t read this title. Will pick out up soon!

I have read only Confessions of a Shopoholic by the author. But reading this review, I am going to add this one to my TBR too. And yes, I like your reviewing style. Its crisp and too the point.
