Review:

Well, I finished this book in a go!! It’s a light, cute love story with lots of confusion, realization and most importantly follow your heart. I loved it. A light heart, well plotted and an interesting story.

The plot very well tells about common things which every family face, every parent faces i.e worrying about their children’s marriage. The story starts describing the life of Ahaana- An independent girl who has her own startup with his college friend, an event management company – At the threshold of love. She lives life like it’s a dream with full of happiness.A client arrives at her office and her heart somehow falls for him. he is none other than Ronit Malhotra. He is there at her office and wants her company to plan his wedding. From the very first meeting, Ahaana has something for him. Is it love? The story carries on with Ronit’s wedding preparations after which his wedding calls off. It’s because of parent’s pressure he agreed to get married and his fiance too was under pressure of her parents after which wedding was called off. Then the plot shifts to Jia, ahaana’s cousin whose wedding was fixed- again arranged marriage. After her engagement Ahaana’s mother too wanted her to marry and she found a guy for her Soham. Was Ahaana ready for marriage? An arrange marriage?

Well, the story beautifully revolves around the life of Ahaana, Ansh, Misha, Soham, Rahul, and Ronit. The way Ahaana’s mother forced her to marry Soham and under family pressure she said yes was something I didn’ t liked but In reality, this is what every girl face. Her mother was just worried as it was her age of getting married. But Ahaana’s Dad and brother like super hero’s always supported her and let her do whatever she wanted.
I loved Ahaana’s Personality, she was not someone who believed in beauty but in elegance, someone who is Independent and workaholic. She is someone who follows her heart and not society. Another thing I liked about this book was A girl and boy can be best friends. How Ansh read Ahaana’s behavior, Always. He was her best friend and always supported and guided her. Thankfully peopled never looked them with a thought of boy and girl can never be best friends.  I loved Ronit’s character, Though he was big man he never had an attitude. He loved Elegance over beauty. How he always adored Ahaana and fell in love with her. The story has a roller coaster journey of these friends at the threshold of Love.

How things fall into place with time and love makes it all right- the Message was very well conveyed.

The story of love and friendship is beautifully written. The story is well written with simple language with a great narration of characters and situations which makes story interesting. The plot is very well written so is the base. The story is not too fast, not too slow. There’s always a surprising element that keeps interest in it. Overall It’s a good, light read with a crisp love story.
If you love reading Romance, Fiction or want to read a light short love story, this book is what you should read.
