Review:

Dear Mr Bachchanby Saurav Dutt is a journey of Vikram who is a big fan of Mr Bachchan, who wants to meet him and become an actor like him.

Vikram who lives in the Slums of Dharavi, who finds solace in watching Mr Bachchan’s films. Some dreams do come true, and Vikram’s fate bought him face to face with his idol. That’s when he finds himself in the world of inspiration and dared to dream of a life beyond slums.

With the backdrop of Dharavi and the tough life of people there, it’s a journey of a family who worked on streets, cleaned the homes of other people. The characters are well-developed by the author. Each character had a story to tell, a story of struggle and thirst for earning. Be it Vikrams Sister or brother, or his Uncle or mother.

It’s an interesting plot filled with twists. The smooth narration and engaging writing style, keeps the readers hooked throughout. The way the author narrated Vikram’s life, gave me goosebumps. The struggle his family faced, Vikram’s dreams, and his lessons from his father are wonderfully expressed.

I liked the way the story proceeds. How Vikram found something positive in every situation. I liked his bond with his uncle, how their whole family was just working to fill their stomach. The siblings who underestimate Vikram’s dream, who is the youngest of all.

What I loved most was Vikram’s mother ethics. It’s an amazing story of family, dreams and determination. With easy language and intriguing narration, it’s a smooth paced story.

What excited me was when Vikram met Mr Bachchan. I loved it. The lessons he learned from Mr Bachchan, how his life changed.

It’s an inspiring, light story that you must definitely read.
