“God has his own plans to make everything alright. We never know when and where we might get everything right in life.”

•never ever bargain your family time just to work for a few more hours.•

We all often ignore our family in work and this book is a wonderful reminder to not take our family for granted.
I finished reading this book and it’s a beautiful emotional read.

Farther by Chaitanya Desale ( @chait_writes ) is a beautiful story of Ruhi, Nivia, Manbir and Robots. Manbir a family man and a passionate robotics engineer has been working on his Dream project until it was taken away from him by his neighbour cum colleague Danny. Things change when he decides to follow his dream and work on his dream project.

Well, the book starts well with a loving family and office politics. This book is a blend of drama, love, loss, friendship, emotions, office politics and of course robots. With an intriguing plot and enthralling narration, the author takes us to the life of Chaitanya, Nivia and Ruhi.

I loved the way the events were taking place, their relationship, the family bond, the father-daughter relationship is beautifully described by the author. At times the unnecessary descriptions makes it a bit tedious but nonetheless, it’s a heart-warming story that you will fall in love with.

The pleasant and crisp writing style of the author keeps the readers hooked throughout. One could relate to the situations Manbir goes through. I loved the later part of the story more. How their lives changed when he lost Nivia and the way he managed Ruhi.

Even Ruhi’s personality and Danny’s story is beautifully described. In between the shifting plots, the childhood stories of Danny and Manbir and present situations, the author expresses the situations well.

The characters are decisive and well-developed by the author. Each character had a story to tell and how they related to Manbir’s life.

Manbir’s love for his daughter, how much he did for her was countless. ( I don’t want to give spoilers). The friends he earned and his dedication for his work. I loved his personality. What makes this book special is the storyline and narration. With lots of drama and love, it’s a beautiful read that you must not skip especially if you live reading Bollywood stories.
