Review

A journey of two hearts who fell in love. It’s a love story of the author herself.

• Patience- the strongest of all virtues. staying calm and composed no matter what the circumstances, is a test you must pass time and again.•

Love in times of zero communication! When there were no mobile phones and only letters, Dimple fell in love with Alnesh her neighbour, her childhood friend.

When they first met for studying together, lil did they know was they are going to be together forever. This book is about their journey of love, the journey of their intercaste marriage, the journey of fighting all the odds to be together for life long.

With cute illustrations and pictures, the author candidly shares the episodes of her love life with vishesh tippanis (special advice) at the end of each chapter.

An engaging narration and a witty writing style of the author along with few Hindi dialogues added fun to the story.

The honest, purest form of emotion – Love is beautifully expressed by the author. There are some beautiful poems that you cannot miss in this book. Not to forget a few amazing Hindi poems.

It’s a short read that will bring a smile to your face. What I loved most were the illustrations. From dealing with long-distance relationship to being each other support, they came a long way.

The most important thing that I learned from this book is to never give up on love, on each other. To fight for what you love and respect that love.

There will be a moment where you will feel bad for the couple, the moment where you will feel joy every time they exchanged letters and how they supported each other.

Witness a sweet journey of Dimple and Alnesh.A perfectly flawed story with a happy end. Overall it’s a simple and delightful read.
