It’s a festive time and we hear so many stories about Maa Durga. Each one of us has a Durga within us, is a divine creation. While I read this book, I could feel how helpless a child felt when she didn’t receive the love and care she deserves.

No cradle for her by Vijayata_9 is a collection of poems around the child who missed the charm of treasure. The treasure that includes love, hope, care in their childhood. Isn’t it interesting? Well, it has collection of unique poems.

Divided into three parts, The story, poetry on the little girl and on various subjects on the society we live in, the author expresses all the emotions beautifully.

With a few powerful words, in an engaging writing style, each poem has a depth, an emotion we could resonate with. There’s truth in her words.

Poems like detached long back, why me?, uncharted riddle are my favourite. The poems are simple and up to the point. The only thing I didn’t like about the book is the formatting. I would have loved it more if it was properly formatted.

Overall, it’s a simple, beautiful and unique read that you will love. Brilliantly written.
