I haven’t read many sci-fi books but the ones that I read are truly interesting. Life is getting back on track slowly and I am picking up the pace as well, in my journey, I am coming across amazing works by the author and publishers. It’s the interesting books that I am reading, are keeping me sane.

Cecilia Miller is a coder of artificial dreams, living in the year 2045. It’s a time when climate chaos has become the norm and the collective mental health of humanity has fallen to a grave state. The world’s population has grown to a horrific number, maxing Earth to its limit, while many people are planning to leave earth some are in the hope that Earth can b saved with the the help of Technology. When planet Earth faces apocalyptic events, Cecilia, an expert wants to save the Earth with her codes.

Will she be successful in saving the earth or will she have to leave the earth? Author Janet Kravetz takes readers to the fascinating world of coders, to the future. The story starts with Cecilia sharing about her life and Malee her younger sister who is programmed to save her. While their life was all good, unusual events take place and the adventure for Cecilia begins.

The plot of the story is super intriguing and exciting. The story starts on a lighter note with all the details and is a bit dragged but picks up well after a few Chapters. While the author shows about how neglecting our planet has dangerous consequences, she shares about Cecilia with her abilities tries her best to save the world from these consequences. It’s all fascinating, to be honest, the vivid description of Cecilia’s life and her work makes the readers curious. The way the events take place is exciting with the introduction of new characters to the story. Janet entertains the readers with lots of drama as well as alarms the readers with what the future can be if we are not careful now! It’s a bit slow-paced story with layers of themes and characters.

While Cecilia wants to save the earth, a major conspiracy is happening that she’s unaware of! Can she trust everyone who is around her? What does the author mean by The chosen five? Wait till the events unfold.

Loved the way the plot develops along with the characters. Yes, the characters are well-sketched by the author. One could relate to Cecilia’s worries, and her will to fight alone. I even liked Jamal’s character.

I liked the way Janet explains in detail about technological advancements and the errors that may happen and blends them with human emotions. It’s a tricky book and will need time to connect the dots but at the same time exciting too. You may worry about Cecilia while being proud of her adventures. I fell in love with her character. Not to forget the climax that was unexpected and will make you think about our actions when it comes to our planet. ‘Even Earth deserves another chance’ these lines stayed with me throughout.

It’s an engrossing read that you’ll enjoy if you love reading sci-fi. An eye-opener too!
