Book 19 of 2023
As I always say, poetry heals me and finally, my first poetry book of 2023 is here!

The Nirvanic heart, as the name says is a dreamland of possibilities and harmony. In this book, Dr Aswin shares about how we seek for solace, seek for happiness in chaos. Seek the moments of love in the hardships of life.

The Nirvanic Heart is a collection of 60 deep and mesmerizing poems that will give us a new perspective. The poems that give hope with a tinge of reality.

Each poem here has a story and Dr Aswin beautifully expresses them. The poems are sharp, deep and thought-provoking, making you wonder how our heart still sees kindness, the positive side amidst everything. How we look for hope, love and things to get better. These poems reflect the shades of life and a plethora of emotions.

There are poems on family, relationships, love, loss, closure, nature and many other
Topics that one could relate to.
While the topics the author discusses are practical and the way we react to the situations is aptly described.

The writing style of the author is rich and delightful, giving readers a beautiful reading experience. The Cantankerous old man is one of my favourite poems along with the Nirvanic heart, Saga: the story continues, Timid Semblance and minute cadence.

Loved the way Aswin has penned each poem. Some are longer than usual but the way he described the emotion here is something I loved the most.

Here readers will witness the answers to questions like What is the value of human life, what does it mean to emote? To live, to grow and to forge relations, what is Nirvana?

•life’s choices are meant to be,
Each second a forlorn story,
Like a leaf flipping over,
Each moment can begin anew.
As the saga: the story continues.•

It’s a great, refreshing and riveting read that you can count on if you love reading poetry.

Summary

Life is but a journey for the willing. Nirvana is but a journey for the destined who forged their path in seek of their own solace. This journey of finding the ‘self’ is a long and arduous road. I hope this book helps in finding yourself by looking through the myriad manifestation of the self in these 60 poems.
