Review:
Uncage The Mysterious Soul by Najam Us Saher is a collection of some beautiful poems. It’s about a girl expressing her loneliness, her thoughts for things in a wonderful way. It reveals her struggles and her darkest feeling.
There are so many poems and muses written by the author, giving a clear picture of what a girl goes through. It’s about struggle and hope. There are s many different topics the author discussed in this book.
It has poems on various different topics like a book, photograph, paper boat, silence and many more. The author tried to connect to the reader well. There were a few poems which I love, while with few, It was getting tedious.
There are themes related to loneliness, sadness, loving and losing someone, nature, time and death. It was all clustered which is the reason I am not impressed with the book. The writing style and the language used by the author is simple.
The poems were good but do not have much depth. I could relate to the poems but the basic style of writing failed to leave an impact on me.
The poems that I loved are: Seashell on the ground, Paper Boat, All over again, Just tell me. I liked the concept of the author and the cover and the title of the book.
Overall, It’s a quick and light read this with various topics. This book is for the beginners.
