While we see Shanaya’s life, we also get a sneak peek of the lives of people around her. How each of them played a role in her life. As we witness modern-day relationships, we see betrayal, layers of lies, and how each one of them is fighting an unknown battle.

Every event shapes a story, making it nail-biting as the truth is unveiled. Not everything that seems perfect is perfect, there are cracks within. Here too we witness such things. With each chapter, the story gets exciting. Shilpa brilliantly weaves the journeys of each character while focusing on the main plot which is commendable.

With a vivid narrative, Here we see, Family dynamics, unrequited love, betrayal, friendships, and sibling relationships and modern lifestyle. Shilpa blends the elements of fun and suspense with love and friendship making it a memorable read. She captures the sweet little moments of love and care which adds beauty to the book. Tammana and Shanaya’s bond, Tarun’s personality, those bits adds charm to the story.

Shilpa’s writing style is enchanting and alluring. She weaves an emotional and relatable journey while keeping the element of suspense throughout. The characters are strong and well-developed by the author. Each character adds depth to the story. While Shanaya and Aarav’s characters are good, Tammana’s character shines out. Her personality and the way she handled situations made me like her character the most.

While the book talks about the complexities of human nature and love, Shilpa brilliantly captures the conflicting emotions and desires each of them goes through. The hidden secrets make readers curious about the reaction of each character. It’s an intense read with the element of fun which makes it a light, quick read. The climax is no less than a roller-coaster ride. It’s Brilliantly narrated, giving us a Bollywood feel. In all, Behind Closed Door Can I Love You More? Is a light and compelling read that you can count on if you enjoy thrillers.
