About the author

Abhimanyu’s profession can be known as a Software Engineer, but his one true love is creating new worlds in the reader’s minds and writing something that he would enjoy reading himself. He has written over 100 short stories in his school, and the love for writing has increased to ten folds since then. He loves the control over his characters when he writes and loves killing them off (a big fan of George RR Martin). There is hardly any second when something is not brewing up in his imaginative mind. He loves being the mastermind of it all; always trying to create an entertaining story.
Apart from writing, he enjoys reading, listening to music, partying with friends and much more which cannot be fathomed by a few words here.

How did it feel when your first book got published?
The feeling was indescribable. To see the finished book in my hand was hands down one of the most memorable moments in my life.

What is that dream goal you want to achieve before you die?
Immortality ? Just kidding. To make a mark in everyone’s mind and hopefully hearts.

What is your motivation for writing more?
I love playing God in my created universe. The control over the characters, the ability to do anything with them. I love telling stories.

Do you pen down revelations and ideas as you get them, right then and there?
Always, I always get the ideas at the wrong time but I jot them down instantly.

What other genres do you enjoy reading?
I read all the genres till the time the content is supreme in the book.

Which of your novels best describes you as a person?
Since Death & Dishonor is my debut novel,  I strongly relate to the lead Arjun Rathore. He has a never say die spirit and a good heart.

Have you ever written a character based on the real you in some part?
Yes, many of my characters have some traits in them which happened to me or someone close to me.

Can you tell us about your current projects?
Yes I am working on the sequel to Death & Dishonor currently and there are many other exciting projects lined up.

 What are your hobbies, passion other than writing?
Reading, listening music, watching movies, partying with friends, trekking, gaming. I am an avid online gamer.

What does literary success look like to you?
It should be a balance between critical appraise, fame and money.
