Summary

It’s not a normal book where the author explains the meaning of Shlokas, it’s a book to find the truth. The crisp narration and interesting writing style make the readers curious. I loved the way the author explained the concept of dedication and perspectives.

Review:

I always love reading mythology books. Be it Ramayana or Mahabharata or Bhagavad Gita, each book will give you a different perspective.

There are many Bhagavad Gita books from different authors, talking about its essence. Well, I found this book unique and loved it. It took me more than 2 months to complete this book and trust me, if you love reading mythology, want to read the meaning of Bhagavad Gita, the unheard stories from Krishna’s life, from Mahabharata and the conclusins behind it?

A book that will make you understand the essence of Bhagavad Gita, the depth of conversations between Arjuna and Krishna and all the possible verdicts of Bhagavad Gita.

Well, I loved the concept of the book. The way it started, an institution devoted to the study and research of Bhagavad Gita. Haripriya’s discussions with her father about Bhagavad Gita. I loved the way this book is sequenced. The crisp narration and interesting writing style make the readers curious. I loved the way the author explained the concept of dedication and perspectives.

Conversations between the father and daughter excited me. There were debates around Gita v/s Guru, Arguments and Discussions around various concepts, keeping the faith as a parameter and implication of theories, it gave me chills, the conversations felt real and upto the point, each time giving me different point of view.

It’s not a normal book where the author explains the meaning of Shlokas, it’s a book to find the truth. My most favourite chapter is the Pilgrimage where Haripriya and her friend visits Dwarka. The curse of Rishi Durvasa to Krishna and Rukmini.

I appreciate the authors for the amount of research they did and put them in words. Not to forget the illustrations at the end of the book that explains the essence of Gita in simple words.

Overall, it’s a book to treasure, a book with a different concept. A must-read book.

Summary:

How were the rules framed? They were framed based on the parameters. How was Parameter identified and on what authority? Parameters were identified based on the attributes of the Gita. The authority too is derived from God/Gita. Isn’t the identification process obsolete and unscientific? There isn’t anything more scientific than the Gita. Just see the explosion of Artificial intelligence applications, be it Drones, Siri, Echo, or Robots. They are all non-human but endowed with intelligence.
