Have you ever sacrificed your happiness for others? THE GRANDMASTER – what comes to your mind when you hear these words?

The grandmaster is a collection of 17 short stories. It is a selection of fictional tales that provide a glimpse of life’s different facets and oddities.
The plot of each story was different from others which made me like this book more. Each story has something to teach, something that one can relate to. The author expressed the moments that we all experience in our routine wonderfully. These are some stories with unexpected endings which again makes me love this book.

The writing style of the author is simple and crisp keeping the reader hooked throughout. Each story is narrated in an interesting way. Some stories could have been much better. The stories that I liked are The Grandmaster, Mother’s love, and the inspiration.
Each story has something to offer. The quotes at the end of each story made it more interesting. It has some amazing fast-paced stories with a wonderful writing style. Overall it’s a book with some great stories.
