Everything is not so black and White. The shades of Grey are Frequently the colours of Life.
Heart Quake is the story of Sonal and Tejas. Sonal went to Bhuj, after Earth Quake to search for her friend Smita and also to help in Medical Camps. Tejas, on the other hand, came to Bhuj for work where he found Sonal. Will these long lost lovers meet? What will happen in Bhuj?
The story started in an excellent manner describing the Bhuj Earthquake but later it was getting lengthy and dull. What I appreciated the most was how each of the characters handled the chaotic situations in a great manner. It shows how dedicated doctors and nurses do their work in such conditions.
The plot is interesting however too complicated. The Story is narrated well. The shifting plots made it a difficult read. The pace of the story is too slow. There are many unnecessary details that the author gave. I flow of the story is smooth. The characters that the author made are strong. I loved Tejas’s character the most. All the characters had their unique Personality. What I disliked was some characters went lacking in the middle and had been again within the story at the cease.
The writing style and The language used by the author is straightforward and smooth. There are various themes that one witness in the book. Friendship, relationship, envy, Love and many other emotions are defined within the book. The cover and the title of the book is good.
Overall, It’s a good book if you have the patience to read till the end.
