•Because that’s how homes are made: getting through days and nights like these, surviving the bad, celebrating the good and finding the joy in everything else that’s in between.•

Home is where siblings fight, where there’s love, arguments and happiness. I always love reading books by Aqil. His books are short, crisp and emotional, always. And go home Farhan is one such book that tells us the importance of Home. You can live in an apartment but it takes a lot to make it Home, to feel it Home.

Go Home Farhan by Aqil is a story of Farhan who is travelling for work, decides to attend the wedding of an almost stranger, goes go the home he use to live in and relives the memories. The moments that make him think of Home, what home is.

It’s a quick 50-page read that will take readers on an emotional roller-coaster ride, down the memory lane. With Farhan, you’ll relive your college days.

Somewhere, I wished the book to not end. I wanted to read more about what Farhan thinks and what can happen next. Well, the illustrations are too cute and so is the book.

A light, breezy read you can count on!

Summary

A cancelled flight, a song and a wedding bring Farhan back to Mumbai after ten long years. As the city reminds him of times when life was simpler and his waist was slimmer, he starts feeling terribly homesick. The only problem? His swanky new apartment in Chennai is not the ‘home’ that Farhan’s missing.

Go home, Farhan is a short story about the idea of home – whatever that means, wherever that is.
