The last few months of 2022 have been about reading regional books and I am truly enjoying them. When it comes to Hindi books, I am not that quick in reading and take my own time to get into the book and it gives a beautiful reading experience.

Recently, I am picking more of light, fun and adventurous reads, to cheer myself up I would say and I stumbled upon this Fantastic read by Nandini Arora. Nandini Arora has written stories for many popular Indian TV shows and this book coming from her has to be full of drama, masala and adventures just like her shows.

Written in Hindi, Hairat- e-Ashiqui is a story of Chingi who falls in love. Love stories in Indian families are never simple. And this is one such story with all the drama that readers can never forget.

With an interesting plot and crisp gripping narrative, Nandini Arora takes readers on a roller coaster ride of love, friendship and Family with lots of entertainment, drama and nostalgia.

Loved the way the story started, right from the start, one could relate to Chingi and her situations well. How she handled the situations, and how she expressed her love for her family is something I loved the most.

The family love part is something that’s gonna stay with me forever from this book. The way Chingi messages her Nani, masi and all, it was so cute.

The characters are well-developed by the author. One could relate to Chingi’s character the most.

The writing style of the author is gripping and alluring, keeping the readers invested in. It’s like a complete Bollywood masala movie. Nandini makes sure there’s a smile on the reader’s face throughout with the Lil moments she added.

It’s a fast-paced story with a smooth flow of words. The story gets more exciting with each chapter and the turns Chingi’s life takes. Not to forget the cute climax that will make you smile and admire Chingi more.

It’s a light, delightful, refreshing and entertaining read that you’ll enjoy.
