This book gave me goosebumps. ( @minithoughts_pp ) Padmini Peteri in her book Of Venom and Honey shares some beautiful and thought-provoking poems that will astound you.

Poetry always heals a broken soul, mends a broken heart and expresses the rawest form of emotions. In her book, Padmini shares poems on themes like love, loss, self-love, hope and many others. It’s a short book but full of depth.

Padmini’s words will hit the right chord, making you think about the chaos we all have faced. Her poems are raw, honest and up to the point. I loved her writing style the most. How beautifully she expressed so many things in such few words.

With gripping writing style and simple language, the poems are adorable.

This book will make you fall in love with love, with poetry and with yourself. Some poems are a bit longer than usual but they are amazing.

Poems like you are my poetry!, to the younger me, Never Abandons!, and Souls are my favourite ones.

Like the two sides of the coin, the author shares some dark, dense poems with some light, hopeful ones. I loved the combination, the way each poem is.

It’s a short, quick read but but, hang on for a while, pause after you read each poem. It has its own experience.

Love reading poetry? Do not skip this one. It’s a beautiful read. Not to forget the amazing cover and title.

A delightful read.
