It’s a story of Mr Hugy old elephant who opens a school to teach the young animals about various problems they were facing and how to deal with them. Chingu a small Bear is one of his students who is curious in nature and has many questions. Witness the craziness and the lives of animals living in a forest called Woody Woods.

Annapurnakrishjeev weaves an entertaining as well as an informative tale that kids are going to love. Well, not only kids but each one of us is going to love this book. I liked the way Mr Hugy discussed various topics in his school along with other teachers and the way other animals shared their stories, educating young animals.

It’s a cute book that will make you laugh and will also tell about the struggles the animals face. I loved how they discussed topics like humans entering the forests, some are good while some are bad in such an intriguing way. Each chapter is beautiful in its own way and has its own experience.

The witty engaging writing style and the crisp gripping narrative make this book a fun read. Not to forget the cute pictures at the start of every chapter. The way the author sketched the characters is amazing. While you will love the quirkiness of Chingu, the subtle nature of Mr Hugy will win your heart. I loved reading Chingu’s thoughts the most.

What I loved most about the book is the author’s approach. She not only conveys an important message of saving forests and not destroying them but also tells about how it is important to save the animals.

The literary festival is my favourite chapter from the book along with the construction of the dam and the Human’s arrive. It’s a light, delightful read that you will enjoy.
