I have read @authorarushi Arushi Vats’s previous work and have always liked it. The title of this book attracted me and I started reading this book. It’s one of her best works till now. Loved reading this one.

If you love the blend of Indian mythology and fantasy with some adventures and mystery, this is the book that you must not skip. Recommended for teens and young audiences, each one of us is going to enjoy this one.

Shipra found a strange book in the library and she couldn’t stop herself from borrowing that book. The golden cover attracted her and speaks to her. Her mother’s sudden plans to visit Vrindavan and strange events start taking place as she takes the book along with her.

The magical book drags her to another mysterious world and she tries to connect the dots with Vivaan, whom she met there. Who is her Sarthi. He shares the mystery behind her journey to the mystical world and with each chapter, there’s a new quest for Shipra to solve.

With an intriguing storyline and gripping plot, Arushi takes us to the fascinating world where Shipra is asked to fight for the hidden Peacock crown and discover what destiny has on the cards for her.

The crisp, descriptive narration and engaging writing style makes it exciting for the readers. There are lessons for Shipra that higher power teaches her in her tests, the people she meets on her journey and how they help her, advise her and prepare her for the journey ahead.

The story gets more and more interesting with each chapter. The way the characters are sketched is amazing and one could relate to it. Each of them has a story to tell, a dot to connect. Be it Vivaan or Jaivant or Maya, each of them added thrill to the story. Shipra’s courageous personality has my heart.

The climax is unpredictable and will leave you stunned. I loved the way the events started unfolding and the mystery was getting solved. It’s a fast-paced story with a smooth flow of words.

There’s not a single moment that made the story dull, which I really appreciate. Overall, it’s a fun, refreshing and thrilling read that you will enjoy. Let the mystery of the Peacock crown unfold.

Summary

Shipra finds herself drawn towards a book she borrowed from the library. Unknown to her, this magical book drags her mysteriously into another world where she meets Vivaan. After meeting Vivaan, Shipra makes efforts to connect the dots of the book. During the journey, she realizes that she had been living a life of illusion and now she is asked to unravel the hidden peacock crown and discover what destiny has on the cards for her.
