Another gem that you are going to love. The secret of the stolen idols by Vivek_r_chaturvedi published by @locksleyhallpublishing is a journey of Gururaj, the last of Goan priests who found his ancestral temple’s long stolen idols in local Markets. Who stole the idols? And why? How they are now found in the market? With so many questions, it’s a rollercoaster ride full of mystery.

A fast-paced journey with a gripping narration and lots of twists, the author weaves an amazing tale that describes the rich Goan culture. Yes, Get a glimpse of Goan culture and traditions and the beauty of Goa. It’s a story with an amazing plot.

Gururaj, who is on a quest to solve the mystery of stolen idols, discovers that he is not alone in the chase. The arrival of new characters makes the journey more interesting and thrilling.

With the layers of Mystery, suspense, adventures and a bit of mythology, the rich and intriguing writing style of the author keeps the readers invested in.

As the story proceeds, the author makes the readers more curious as the journey unfolds. The characters are strong and well-developed by the author. Each character adds a twist to the story. I enjoyed the last few chapters the most.

Summary

Gururaj, the last of Goan priests sworn to the worship of Betaal, finds his life churning up abruptly when his ancestral temple’s long stolen idols hit the local markets. He faces a challenging inner turmoil, reliving memories of a dreaded childhood night, when he witnessed the temple’s gruesome robbery by dreaded gangsters of the day. Setting his fears aside, he leaps into the high stakes chase for the idols for it is on his success alone that the continuation of the age old Goan traditions of Betaal lie. Gururaj soon finds out that he is not alone in the chase and all characters involved in the original heist are drawn in to face each other once again. Will Gururaj be able to save the ancient traditions? Will he find out who stole the idols? Would his secretive benefactor save him as before?
