Author Ravi Kant writes as Dev, a man bound by love and loss. The story traces Dev’s journey from childhood to youth, from college life to adulthood, and eventually to a phase of professional stability, capturing the emotional evolution of the person he slowly becomes. Along the way, we witness his evolving understanding of love, how he embraces it at different stages of life, how he learns from loss, and how he continues to hope despite repeated heartbreak.

What makes Come Back As Anyone compelling is not just its central idea of love recurring across lifetimes, but the way Ravi Kant weaves fate, memory, and loss into an almost cyclical experience for the reader. The plot unfolds like a quiet spiral, moving forward in time while constantly looping back to the same emotion: longing. Dev’s life does not progress in straight lines; it circles around love, just as death circles around the marked. Each phase of his life brings a new beginning that feels familiar, making the story feel both predictable and haunting in the most effective way.

At every stage, love finds him again, only to leave him in different forms, sometimes through death, sometimes through separation, and sometimes without any closure at all. Yet what remains constant is Dev’s hope. Despite repeated loss, he never gives up on love, and that resilience is one of the most touching aspects of the story. At other times, it leaves without closure or explanation. Yet what I truly appreciated was Dev’s resilience. Despite repeated losses, he never gives up on love. That quiet persistence, choosing hope again and again, is what makes his journey deeply moving.

That said, I did feel the book lacked depth in places. Some chapters could have been explored further, with richer descriptions and deeper emotional detailing that might have strengthened their impact. A few moments feel rushed, passing too quickly when they deserved more space to breathe. Still, the climax is where the story truly stands out. The open-ended conclusion leaves readers with lingering questions, and that uncertainty is both unsettling and satisfying. Rather than offering clear answers, it invites reflection, staying with you long after the final page.

Overall, Come Back As Anyone is a light yet intense, emotionally driven, and captivating read. It is a story about love that refuses to die, about loss that teaches rather than destroys, and about hope that survives every ending. A book you can count on if you enjoy stories that blur the lines between fate, memory, and the soul.
