Summary:
‘A bitter winter wind blowing outside spoke to me. There was no one else. And then it struck me. She might have truly disappeared! Sometimes, you get a sense of these things . . .’
It’s been one hell of a tough week at Yummimages, a digital infotainment site, with controversies seeping into the politicking within the office. To calm things down, Rahul, the founder, plans a party at his home. His goal is to set things right between his fiancée-to-be, Simone, and his business partner and close friend, Suhel. With the party in full swing it’s time for Rahul to have ‘the talk’, but suddenly Simone is nowhere to be found. As all investigations come to naught, Rahul takes matters into his own hands and soon has a few suspects lined up. It’s just a matter of time before he knows the truth. But reality can be so twisted, so bizarre, so utterly unbelievable.
Review:
It’s a story of Rahul, a confident person who is keen on doing wonderful things in life. He decided to create something of his own, so he owns a company name ‘Yummimages’. Both best friends work together but there happens to be a problem between Simone and Suhel, which Rahul decides to solve. what will happen when he won’t find Suhel anywhere?
Well, the start of the story was good but later it was though to continue. The journey of Rahul started in a very good way but later the plot was too complicated to understand. The story was getting more complicated with each chapter and was not able to connect with the story. The pace was good, smooth and easy so was the tempo. The plot was too complicated and failed to impress me. I love reading mystery and thriller, but there was none of it in this book. It was a lil dull read for me. The story was dragged a lot with brief dialogue and explanations. There were some chapters that I felt like Ok, but other were not upto the expectations. It was really tough to finish this book. The cover and the book does not match at all.Though I loved the cover. It was a complicated read. But this story truly shows the power of Social Media from the first three chapters.
I am sorry to say this but the book didn’t live upto the mark.
