Summary

My favourite part of the book is the last two chapters. Duaa’s Dua and Duaa’s message is my favourite. How she learns more about herself from each of the friends she made. How she makes evolve as a person and her perspective about friendship.

Vidhu Kapur ‘s Do we make friends after school? Takes you down the memory lane and will remind you of your school days. Narrated by Duaa, it’s a story of four school friends for life! The best of the school friends drifted apart after school and life happened.

School friends are essential, isn’t it? In this story of Duaa, Vidhu Kapur weaves a journey of love, trust, friendship and the Phases of friendship. Yes, you read it right, we all go through this phase and Vidhu in her book hits the right chord, making us miss our school friends with Duaa’s journey.

Reading this book has its own experience. While we relive our school days, and the time we made friends. Duaa’s journey is one such journey where she met Tara, Jina, coco and shanu and how their friendship started drifting once life happened.

With the raw and fresh writing style of the author and with the crisp and candid narrative the author captures the reader’s attention. One could feel the pain, the feelings that Duaa witnessed.

Each chapter drives us crazy with happiness and lots of memories and surprises. How their friendship changed with time, the grudges that they had, the best of the time they spent, everything is perfectly expressed by the author.

My favourite part of the book is the last two chapters. Duaa’s Dua and Duaa’s message is my favourite. How she learns more about herself from each of the friends she made. How she makes evolve as a person and her perspective about friendship.
