Amidst Lockdown, we all are exploring different Genres, different languages to watch movies in. My brother came across these Free Tamil movies on ZEE5, and he recommended me. I am not much into Tamil movies, but I thought of giving them a chance. It was fun watching something new and in a different language.
The shows filled with drama and interesting storyline, sharing the list of shows that I really loved.
Dora
Dora is a 2017 Tamil thriller-horror film starring Nayanthara. Pavalakkodi and her father Vairakannur live together in a small house. Pavalakkodi is an unmarried woman and decides to stay that way. She decides to go to her hometown and wants to borrow a car. After being insulted by her aunt she buys a car. The car is possessed by the spirit of a dog called Dora. The previous owner of the dog was killed by three goons. Together they avenge the death of Dora’s previous owner. Blended with thriller and mystery it’s a wonderful roller coaster ride. A show is full of mystery.
Jaggubhai
Jaggubhai is a 2010 Tamil action drama movie starring Sarath Kumar, Shriya Saran and Goundamani. Jaggubhai is a valiant cop, who goes to Australia on official business and has an affair with Illavarasi. Twenty years later he learns about his child. He returns to Australia to get her back but learns that Illavarasi was murdered by the thugs he chased 20 years ago. Then Jaggubhai tracks down and kills the thugs and brings his daughter back home. Another action pack movie filled with drama that you’ll love.
Ko2
Ko 2 is a 2016 Tamil political thriller starring Bobby Simha, Prakash Raj and Nikki Galrani. Kumaran, a common man, kidnaps Tamil Nadu’s chief minister Yogeeswaran. The home minister, Thillainayagam appoints commissioner Santhanapandian to solve this case. How will Kumaran deal with this? Another action-packed movie with drama and fun.
Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanigalum
Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanigalum is a 2014 Tamil comedy starring Arulnithi, Bindu Madhavi and Bagavathi Perumal. Three friends Tamil, Malar and Esakki plan to kidnap Tamil’s girlfriend Isabella. With a sudden turn of events, Tamil meets Lord Shiva in the worldly form. Lord Shiva shows him the same kidnapping in three scenarios. A fun movie with an interesting storyline.
Idhu Kadhirvelan Kaadhal
Idhu Kadhirvelan Kaadhal is a 2014 Tamil romantic comedy film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara. The story revolves around Kathir, a devotee of Lord Anjaneya who stays away from women. During his stay in Coimbatore, Kathir falls in love with Pavithra but discovers that she already is in a relationship with Gautham, who is a crook. Can Kathir protect Pavithra and win her love?
Another movie with a wonderful plot. I liked how the story turned out to be.
Manjapai
Manjapai is a 2014 Tamil comedy-drama film starring Vimal, Lakshmi Menon and Raj Kiran. The story revolves around a young boy named Tamil who is raised by his grandfather, after his parent’s death. When Tamil gets a job in the city, he invites his grandfather, Venkatasamy, to stay with him. During the stay, grandfather does a few things that embarrass Tamil and even puts his job in danger. How will Tamil react to his grandfather’s mistakes? It’s a wonderful story that shows the relationship between the two generations.
