•don’t be quick to judge, you don’t know what war the other person is fighting.•

Rains, a cup of tea and a good book is all we need, isn’t it? Coming to this book, I am going to cherish it forever.

Sashi Sherpa’s @four_blades_of_grass, as the name suggests The four blades of grass is a story of friendship, love and the spirit of never giving up. This book will remind you of your friends who stood there with you through the thick and thin.

The four blades, the four strong personalities that will leave a powerful impression in the minds of the readers. The personalities who went through a lot, who fought and emerged as a winner. Witness the journey of Alisha, Pranita, Sarah and Reena.

With an enthralling storyline and an amazing plot, with a backdrop of New Delhi and a group of friends, Sashi Sherpa gives us a glimpse of the world of these strong personalities. The situations each of them went through and how they stood like strong pillars for each other. Be it in fun or crisis, you are going to love their friendship and their stories.

Crisply narrated, with a gripping and engaging writing style, one could relate to the characters well. While Alisha’s humble, soft personality will make you smile, you will feel pain with Sarah’s scars. Reena’s unnoticed sacrifices will make you angry while Pranita’s glam has its own charm. Each character is amazingly sketched making readers fall in love with them.

I loved the way events were taking place, making the story more and more interesting. I liked the way the dots connected at the end. I fell in love with Pranita’s character.

There’s fun, there’s sadness, there’s love and many other emotions that you will witness here. What I loved most is the way the author intertwined all four stories together without losing their charm. With lots of drama, relationships and friendships, I loved the way the author gave importance to family relationships.

Sarah’s journey will give you goosebumps, and Alisha’s Spirit of never giving up will cheer you up. Reena’s idea of love will make you smile and Pranita’s journey will make you feel proud.
A refreshing, mesmerising read that you must not skip. A must-read.
