I have been reading many thrillers recently and each of them didn’t fail to impress me and I can’t wait to pick up yet another thriller. Well, not talking about my next read and coming to this one, a brilliantly penned novel by @kris_gade

Keith has been missing and Detective Johnson, who, along with Detective Norton has taken up the case to find him. Meanwhile, Greg is at the airport, running away from his family while his son is kidnapped. Why is so? Where is Keith? Who kidnapped him? And why? Well, it’s a perfectly brewed story with many twists and puzzles to solve.

I loved the plot of the story, unpredictable and to the point. The way Kris adds twists and describes the situation each character goes through is something loved the most. The details he adds makes the readers think about what will happen next.

With a crisp, gripping narrative and an enthralling writing style, it’s a fast-paced story, a perfect blend of mystery, thrill and complex relationships. There’s an element of suspense throughout. Every time we think this can happen next, The author surprises readers with another twist. It’s a heavy read with too many characters which makes it a bit difficult to connect the dots but then over a thrilling story, it’s worth it.

The characters are well sketched by the author. Each character adds beauty to the book. I love Sara, Jimmy and Steve’s character the most.

Loved how the plot shifted from Family drama to chasing the gangsters and deaths, something not less than a Bollywood movie and the way the new characters were introduced.

With each chapter, the story gets more interesting. I loved the last few chapters the most when the puzzle gets solved.

Not to forget the climax that will surely amaze you. Overall it’s an entertaining and interesting read that you can count on. Kudos to Kris for an amazing debut. It’s a great read.
