I am travelling right now and I grabbed my sister’s phone as I couldn’t stop myself from clicking this picture. The paperback copy is at home and all I could do is think of is this book. Does this happen to you too? I finished this beautiful book today and trust me if you love reading poems, do read this one.

•With a broken heart
But life goes on and on
At end of the day
Even kings have to leave
Their beloved throne•

Suicide note by Gurinder @thekowaretapoet is a collection of brilliant poems you are going to fall in love with. With varied themes of love, loss, heartbreak, nature, nostalgia and many others, the author makes the readers fall in love with his words.

Beautifully written, with an enticing writing style, One could relate to each of the poems and can feel the emotion. Some poems are short while some are longer than usual, each of them unique in its own way.

While some poems like Reflection, She’s not, They left are powerful and bold, poems like Memories, Don’t, Both, Bohemian will make you feel the loss. These poems describe the beauty of relationships and at the same time convey the message of being strong and finding peace.

Some poems have stories within them like the Melody man which is my favourite. The poems are deep and vivid, powerful and soothing creating the balance.

Open the book, read any poem and you’ll fall for his words. This is something I experienced while reading the book. The way he adds details and the choice of his words is to the point.

I love poetry, they have the power to make me feel better and this book surely made me feel better. Whiskey and peanuts, Empire, Poor Soul, and Ghosts are my favourites from the book.

The poems are reflective and to the point. Feel the magic of poetry with Gurinder. Love reading poetry? Do not skip this one.

Well, the station just arrived, and I have to get down for another adventure!
Signing off.
