Yes, that struggle, that smile by @pagesof_me is a story of a girl who starts picking up the pieces of her shattered life, joining back, and trying to live again embracing the uncertainties. Little did she know, her perfect life will take a turn.

Loved the plot of the story. Mysterious and adventurous at the same time. With a crisp descriptive narrative and engrossing writing style, Marieannette with her words keeps the readers invested in with many mysteries to solve. The way the events unfold will startle the readers.

For the first few pages, It takes a while for readers to connect to the story but later is a never-ending history. The story picks up really well with unexpected twists.

This story needs your utmost attention as there are too many things happening in the story and it’s too quick to absorb it all. I wish the flow was a bit smooth and it was a bit slow-paced as there are many things in the story that readers would love to immerse in. How the girl survives, how she reacts, and what will happen next? There were many questions. Loved the way the story was shaped with the themes of love, loss, grief and the spirit of restarting.

It has lots of drama and thrilling vibes, that will give you goosebumps. The climax of the story is unpredictable. I craved for more details and would have loved it if the story was a bit longer and was more structured.

It’s indeed a page-turner.
