It’s a book full of drama, like a Bollywood movie. Though it’s a bit slow-paced book and the story felt a bit dragged, the author keeps the readers engaged throughout. Not to forget the unpredictable climax at made this story a masterpiece.

•everything is part of the curse, the curse of Kukkutarma.•

Well, it’s a crazy story that kept me awake, that made me curious about the story, a book that’s a crazy rollercoaster ride.

It starts with Opamanyu aka Opu who is a prodigy according to his teachers, who love time machines and want to create one to witness Mahabharata, the war at Kurukshetra. Sounds crazy right?

With Isla’s support, Opu, invented Atitayan(a machine that travels to the past) and was ready to witness the war. Things messed up and Atityan took Opu to the future where he met the brother-sister duo who rescues him. What happens next? How is it linked with Kukkutarma (Mohenjo-daro) well well, the story unfolds soon.

It’s a rollercoaster ride full of mystery, thrill with an interesting storyline. The story revolves around Tanya, Sid, Opu, Isla and Abhija. Crisply narrated with an enchanting plot, Prateep06 Prateep Roy takes us to the past, to witness the Indus Valley Civilisation.

The plot revolves around the Past, Present and future, giving us insights about what was happening with each of the characters. To be honest, the story started on a low key, but later it paced up well, making me curious. The way the events are scheduled is commendable.

With simple language and an engaging writing style, the author weaves a gripping tale of love and conspiracy at Kukkutarma. Each chapter will surprise you, no doubt at times unnecessary descriptions made it a bit tedious but it was worth it for the story.

The characters are well-developed by the author. I loved Sid’s and Tanya’s characters the most. Their determined personalities, especially Tanya’s inspired me. You, of course, was the hero for creating what he dreamt of. Isla for her support and love.

It’s a book full of drama, like a Bollywood movie. Though it’s a bit slow-paced book and the story felt a bit dragged, the author keeps the readers engaged throughout. Not to forget the unpredictable climax at made this story a masterpiece.

A thrilling, amazing read that you will love.

Summary

The protagonist, a prodigy, now a grown-up scientist, realizes his childhood dream of making a time machine. He creates Atitayā́n (a machine that travels to the past). In his quest to witness the Kurukshetra war, he sets off to travel thousands of years into the past. But due to some technical glitches, he travels 100 years into the future instead.

A brother-sister duo rescues him. Together, they relaunch the Atitayā́n. The Anthropologist sister travels thousands of years into the past in Atitayā́n to witness the Indus Valley Civilization. There she witnesses a conspiracy brewing at Kukkutarma (Mohenjo-daro) organized by the Priest-King to grab the power of the Indus Kingdom.

Enraged by the conspiracy, a sorcerer from the Indus state, Kot-Dilji, curses the Priest-King: unless he abandons his unconsecrated plans to conquer and rule the Indus Kingdom, the kingdom will perish.
