I would like to remind myself when I am 40 is to not take life too seriously.

It’s book 46 of 2023 and it’s a light candid read that you can count on.

•My river is done running wild; all the rapids have been tumbled. I’ve swirled myself (often unnecessarily) into too many whirlpools as other currents came my way, ships have been anchored, others have been sunk…now it is ready to settle into a steady flow with the few ships that have made it through.•

In their book “Halfway Point”, authors @rummanaab and Sharvari delve into the experience of reaching 40 and the changes that come with it. They share the emotional turmoil that comes with this stage of life, as well as the shifting dynamics of relationships and a new perspective on life. Through their discussions, the authors offer practical insights and reflections on the challenges of middle age.

The writing style is raw, candid, and captivating, with questions that are as interesting as the answers that prompt readers to think deeply. The book also touches upon the concept of happiness, how it changes with time, and the midlife crisis while balancing relationships and life.

What I enjoyed reading most is the book focus on the little things in life that we often overlook, such as the importance of friends, giving back to society, and even sleepless nights. It prompts readers to contemplate how these seemingly small factors can impact our overall happiness and well-being.

The conversations are Practical and relatable, reminding readers to appreciate and find value in the small moments of life that we often overlook in the daily grind.
