Review:

Tell me about the love that feels right in the comments below. Also, a book that kept you awake till midnight?

My Book 105 of 2023 kept me awake till 2.00 Am. I was so engrossed in the book that made me buy a little more time to complete this book.

~Love is about being comfortable, being yourself around the other, love is about the feeling of security, where you don’t have to think twice before saying anything, isn’t it?

Well, I was attracted to the title of the book and after reading reviews I wanted to dive into this book as soon as I can and it did not disappoint me. Well, this book is more about falling in love with ourselves. The words that I underlined in this book stay with me.

~ Bold, Freedom, Happiness, and Boundaries.

“Sometimes you don’t need a reward to feel rewarded.”

From the book How to fall out of Love Madly by Jana Casale.

How to Fall Out of Love Madly by Jana Casale is an interesting journey of Joy, Annie and Celine, Each one of them figuring out what true love is. The author skillfully weaves together themes of love, friendship, drama, office politics, and romance, creating a rich and engaging narrative.

The narrative revolves around Joy and Annie, who are roommates and have rented the third room to Theo. Annie is still determining the status of her relationship with Jason, whom she is in love with. Joy, who has always struggled with body image issues, underestimates herself despite deserving more in life. Slowly, Joy finds herself falling for Theo but fears confessing her feelings, fearing she might lose him. However, Theo introduces Celine, his girlfriend, and Joy’s world crumbles. Celine, too, faces her own struggles and the need to figure out her desires.

The plot is filled with unexpected twists and turns, keeping readers engaged and eager to uncover what lies ahead for the characters. The pacing of the story is well-balanced, providing moments of introspection and emotional depth, as well as exciting and dramatic events.

The question is, are they being true to themselves? Their feelings?

As the story unfolds, these three women witness harsh truths and decide to take control of their lives. This book is Like the phases of the moon, we witness each of their transformative journeys, finding ourselves able to connect with each character. Their decisions empower us and add depth to the story.

An inspiring tale of Friendship – Arribada: The Arrival by Samantha Kochharr – Book Review

Jane’s writing style is both descriptive and evocative, allowing readers to vividly imagine the settings and immerse themselves in the characters’ lives. The narrative is beautifully paced, effortlessly transitioning between the perspectives of Joy, Annie, and Celine, providing a comprehensive view of their individual experiences. The rawness in the author’s words adds a layer of richness to the reading experience

Throughout the book, there are moments of laughter, friendship, and heartfelt conversations with moments of tension and self-reflection, creating a realistic portrayal of the ups and downs of life and relationships that the readers can easily relate to. The story resonates with its exploration of self-worth, the importance of setting boundaries, and the significance of choosing oneself first. It serves as a gentle reminder that self-love and personal growth are essential components of any healthy relationship. With each event, the story becomes more thrilling, leaving readers curious about the choices each character will make.

One of the strengths of this book lies in its well-developed and relatable characters. Joy, Annie, and Celine are portrayed with depth and authenticity, each struggling with their challenges, insecurities, flaws and aspirations. Readers will find themselves emotionally invested in their journeys and rooting for them to find fulfilment and happiness. There are situations which we all go through, situations which we tend to ignore instead of recognizing and changing them.

“It’s about the little things that matter the most.” This sentiment rings true within the story as well, as we witness moments that hold significant meaning, often overlooked by others.

Throughout the book, we feel a mix of emotions: anger towards Joy for underestimating herself, pride in Annie for her courageous steps and support of other women, and empathy for Celine and her struggles. Each character contributes to the story’s depth, but I was particularly moved by Annie’s journey and found myself connecting with her story and personality. The relationships between the characters, particularly the bond between Joy and Annie, is beautifully described and serve as an anchor throughout the story as they make each other witness the truth.

Along with friendship and doing better than the other, I loved the equation each of them had with their mothers. The inclusion of family dynamics adds another layer of depth to the story, further highlighting the complexities and influences that shape our experiences with love.

The last few chapters were truly exciting especially when they witness their truths. The part I loved the most makes me think, Even if it’s a little late, we need to find ourselves first, love ourselves first then find the other. The climax is both dramatic and satisfying, bringing together the various storylines in a way that leaves readers feeling content and fulfilled. It encourages reflection on the choices we make in matters of the heart and the importance of embracing our own happiness.

How to Fall Out of Love Madly is an outstanding novel that skillfully captures the nuances of love, friendship, and self-discovery. Jana Casale’s storytelling prowess and her ability to create relatable characters make this book a must-read for anyone seeking an emotional and thought-provoking literary experience.
