1: What other genres do you enjoy reading?

I am not a genre-specific person. Any book that is well written I enjoy reading.

2: Which of your novels best describes you as a person?

Have only written one till now :) My next book’s protagonist, however, is closest to me as a person.

3: Have you ever written a character based on the real you in some part?

You will see it in my next book, it’s a contemporary, realistic tale of a person’s journey as he straddles between his passion and profession.

4: Can you tell us about your current projects?

Apart from my next book, my third book is also ready and is a tale of magical realism. Hopefully, you will start seeing more of my movies being released from next year onwards as well.

5: When can the readers expect your next book in print?

Mid next year

6: One character from your books, that you like the most.

From The Tree with a Thousand Apples, Safeena is my favorite. She is the core on which the whole novel rests.

7: What is that dream goal you want to achieve before you die?

Win a Booker and an Oscar, God willing :)

8: What are your hobbies, passion other than writing?

To read good books, watch good content, eat and travel

9: What is your motivation for writing more?

Not just motivation, I think it’s desperation that keeps one hooked

10. What does literary success look like to you?

Haven’t seen it yet so won’t know :)
