Only one condition- she won’t allow anyone to enslave her mind.’

Review:

Rich, lyrical and empowering, She is Shabnam by Sangeera Kampani, is a powerful, beautiful read that follows the story of three generations of women, their strengths, their unstoppable ways, their bonds and how they took charge of their lives.

With an enchanting writing style, Sangeeta interestingly weaves a beautiful tale. It’s the story of Shabnam- strong, ambitious and powerful, who is looking for love. What hurdles her? Her independence.

Right from the bond she shares with her mother, to her daughter, she poetically describes her journey of finding love and marriage.

Here we meet the inspiring, versatile Shabnam as she breaks her mould to embody the Essence of a woman in command. The focused, flourishing and unbothered Shabnam who builds her empire.

Sangeeta with her words inspires readers while taking them on an emotional journey of love, hope and success. What I loved was the father-daughter bond She describes. The way it changes with time, the way a woman’s life shapes as she binds with different people and relationships.

Here we see Shabnam – a daughter, a wife, a mother, a daughter-in-law, a business person and also the unfiltered, determined person.

I enjoyed the way the events took place and the way Sangeeta described them. With an intriguing plot and crisp, gripping narrative, it’s a story that celebrates the spirit of women, their determination and their desires. We see companionship, motherhood, and loneliness too. It’s an emotional roller coaster ride that you must take.

A strong, heartwarming and ravishing Read that feels like a sunshine.
