Review:

Started excitingly, Neka Shah’s, Your Home is in My Heart is a beautiful, romantic read, filled with drama, friendship, love and family bonds. It’s a story of Kanakia and Gundecha’s, families who shared a bond for decades.

The book started in a fun, exciting way with the next generation of families meeting each other and sharing a beautiful bond. It’s the story of Shivaay and Jeevika who started as friends and over the years, their bond grew. Looking forward to tying this bond for life long, both families got excited. Little did they know, there come twists.

With a gripping plot and crisp, descriptive narrative, Neka Shah weaves an entertaining tale of love, romance and unexpected twists. Right from their birth to their young days together, we could see how Shivaay and Jeevika’s bond grew and so did the families.

Neka’s writing style is rich and enchanting. She adds beautiful illustrations and music links which makes it a mesmerizing experience. The situations are relatable and to the point. As I said, this book is no less than a Bollywood movie with a backdrop of rich Indian Families.

The characters of the story are well-developed by the author. The way she focuses on love for family and taking a stand for lovd ones, we see how both of them grow as a person and a professional in this journey. The determined, gentle and loving Jeevika and the handsome, loving and sharp Shivaay steal the hearts of the readers. It’s a beautifully curated book which gives us a Bollywood feel.

It’s a light, smooth-paced story which shows the highs and lows of love, a quest to keep the families together, and a promise to be with the daughter forever. I cherished the bond Prem and Jeevika shared. This book is an emotional rollercoaster ride, Pure, full of love. It’s an unputdownable read. At times, Neka shares too many details which makes it a bit tedious and slow but then, the way the plot takes twists makes this book a beautiful journey of love.

The climax is indeed cinematic and full of drama and unexpected twists. It’s a heartwarming, moving and refreshing read that celebrates relationships and Love, giving readers a glimpse at the Indian families and their world.
