Review:
▶️ do you like reading poetry?
Lyrical and enchanting, Disha Sethi’s ‘Of Wander & Wild’ is a beautiful collection of poetry capturing the beauty of nature and the changing seasons. Well, here we see the hues of nature most beautifully and magically, making us reflect on the small moments of life around us.
Disha with her words takes readers across magnificent landscapes finding joy in the simple moments of life. The moments that are ordinary but extraordinary. Her writing style is enchanting making readers embrace the solitude while appreciating the beauty of life around us. Each poem has its own story, and is intense, Her deep observations make it a memorable journey for the readers.
Divided into five parts She explores various themes like love, nostalgia, wonder, desire, grief, and happiness. I loved the poems under the ‘Rear-View’ section where she shares poetry on ‘Ganga’, ‘Dhritarashtra’, and ‘Bombay 2004. She beautifully expressed her introspections. Along with these, ‘Sugar Rush’, ‘Light Never Sleeps’, ‘Womanhood’, ‘Ten Januaries Later’, ‘Simple Joys’, ‘Solitude’, and ‘Etched in You’ are a few of my favourites from the book. The way she expresses each of them is rich and ravishing, each of them compelling us to dive into the range of emotions and reflect within, reminding us to live every moment, enjoy where we are and experience the beauty of nature around us.
Slow down, pause for a while, breathe, reflect your thoughts and enjoy where you are. This book is a heartwarming collection of poetries you can count on. Truly a masterpiece.
