Broken is the new beautiful by @author_garimapradhan Garima Pradhan, is a wonderful journey of Khushi, an author, a queen who builds her kingdom until her king arrives, a girl who wants love that’s forever, a girl whose heart was once broken and is afraid of falling in love with the wrong one’s.

Sometimes, arranged marriages are scary. Here, you are going to witness lots of drama, office politics, friendship and of course love. With an interesting plot and crisp narration, Garima Pradhan weaves a light, fun and an interesting story that one must-read. We have always read about parents’ expectations for their daughter, and guy’s expectations from their partner but here, read about what a girl expects from her partner. For her, what marriage is.

What I loved most about the book is the practical approach and the way Khushi handled the situations. Each one of us has the right to choose and know every little detail about our partner before we commit, here I loved Khushi’s strong, fearless personality. In Khushi, I found bits of myself.

The simple language and gripping writing style of the author keep the readers invested in. Though it’s a bit slow-paced and casual but the storyline has my heart. The way Garima put forward the reality is something I loved the most.

The characters are well developed by the author. I of course loved Khushi’s character. Here, you will witness heartbreak, parents’ love, politics self-love too and a lifelong friendship. It’s a good book, especially for the beginners.
