Interview:

Tell us about the idea behind the book?

This book is a wonderful way to measure how virtuous the life you live actually is and at the very same moment a great reminder that it’s never too late to struggle to get there. The book deals with various crucial issues that have taken a huge part of many individual lives – anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, insomnia, and other mood disorders. I have tried to explain everything in story form. Every chapter of the book has a story by which  try to explain how important it is to keep a balance in life by understanding the true nature of happiness and making time to contribute to our overall mental health.

How much time did it take in the process of writing?

It took me only one month to write this book. Well, your timeline will depend on the length and genre of your book, as well as your day-to-day writing routine.

What did the process of writing this book teach you?

There are so many things that may cause you to retract into a shell of safety where you can stay foreverwithout going forward in life. But that shell of safety stops growth and takes away your freedom, limiting you from achieving your goals and becoming the person you aim to be.Through this book, I have embarked a journey of self-awareness where I know that I am the priority. Ajourney that reciprocates with our desire to break away from the fetters of stereotypes whichcondition us to base our successfulness through the eyes of the society and how others accept orperceive us.

5 books one must read in a lifetime

1. You are thee priority 2. The 5 AM club 3. Rich Dad Poor Dad 4. The power of your subconscious mind 5. Emotional intelligence

Tell us about your publishing journey in 5 words.

Overwhelming, Amazing , Beautiful, Grateful, Emotional.

Tell us about your plans?

Well the Plan is simple , you just have to live each day with the positivity that you seek from others and no be controlled by the things and people around you which eventually bring you down.

What is a literary success for you?

I think there are several different levels of success in the literary world. For one, there’s getting published, period. It doesn’t matter if it’s a short story or a novel. That’s a major accomplishment. I personally would only consider it a success if it was a professional sale, but for some people, a vanity press or amateur magazine is enough. Just getting to see your name in print is pretty fantastic.

A message for all the readers.

Depression is insidious and it may not come with warnings or signs at all. We all tend to forget ourselves in the rigorous process of continuously completing one task followed by the other that we make hundreds of priorities and never put ourselves in that list. As it is rightly said that the rat race never ends. We always tend to delay our happiness in the future by feeding us a hope that we will have time, say, after retirement or after crossing the age of fifty. We keep postponing our happiness every day and by doing so we keep feeding our baggage of sadness that one day slips us into a dark place that we might call depression, anxiety, and all these common technical terms. This book ‘You are thee priority’  is a book that holds everything about depression and the process of self-healing by doing very simple things but prime for our happiness.
