Review:

What Is an Indian? by Tarundeep Singh is divided into 10 chapters followed by subchapters Talking about India, Indian System and What is an Indian.

The author discussed the problems, the solution, the struggle that the Indians face. About everything that concerns the people of India, the culture, the economy, and many more things.  The author also gave a few tips, quotes and solutions to make India a better country.

This book is detailed and well researched. The author aptly discussed each and every point. From poverty to cost of living, from spiritual content to terrorism the author talks about each and every topic amazingly.

The author talks about the general difficulties that we face in day to day life which makes one think how we can bring change. There are some wonderful examples that the author gave to make it easy for the reader.

The language used by the author is simple and easy. The narration of the book is appealing but a bit tedious. The writing style of the author is good but not that gripping. It was tough to connect with the book.

At times I was confused with what is going on. Also, The book is too long, Plus an E-book, it took a lot of time to read this heavy book.   The pace of the story is too slow. The title of the book is interesting, the cover could have been better.

Overall it’s a good book but could have been much better as at times it was difficult to continue and finish the book until the end.

Certainly, It’s a Heavy book with lots of helpful information.

Summary:

In this work Author is passionate about being an Indian. He feels that a ‘True Indian’ is not a person but set of traits and anyone who exhibits them is an Indian. But before any one can posses those qualities the need is to overcome challenges at social, financial, national and global level.

The book is collection of personal thoughts and author believes if every citizen of this country comes forward to deal with the issues then an Indian will be last human to live on this planet.
