▶️ A thrilling mystery or a light romance novel, what would you choose?

I love reading Light, adventurous thrillers. It always helps me come out of the reading block. I have read Anubhab’s work and have liked it. This book too is no different. My Book 111 of 2023 is a Thrilling, adventurous ride that you will enjoy.

Where the way never ends by Anubhab Das is an adventurous journey of Inspector Ajay and Rittik. Rudra Ray, a prominent billionaire of India is tensed as both his sons are kidnapped and Inspector Ajay and Rittik take up the mission to rescue the children from the Kidnappers. Little did they know, they would be on this mission for a long time, as the Kidnappers has some different plans. Through edgeless savannas in Africa, to Congo Basins, both Inspectors travel half of the globe to find the kids.

As they proceed, they come across various clues and situations that help them reach the kids. It’s exciting to read this never-ending run-and-chase game that the Inspectors are on. Will it be too late till they find kids? Who is the mastermind behind this? Will both of them give up on the case or continue the chase? With many questions, Anubhab takes us on a thrilling ride worth witnessing.

The plot of the story is interesting, filled with many unexpected twists and turns. With each chapter, they witness a challenge and how they proceed is exciting to read. The story starts with the narrative of kidnappers adn their challenge with kids followed by the Inspector’s journey. While we first see the journey of kids and them not leaving a single clue, the story suddenly shifts to Inspector’s narrative. The shift is good but where the kids are, and how they reached there, there are many questions as we go on a journey with Ajay and Rittik.

The crisp descriptive narrative with a vivid backdrop of forest area, Anubhab weaves an enthralling tale of friendship, mystery, action and lots of drama. The difficulties both of them face and the time they spent in the forest finding kids is interesting to read. It’s a fast-paced story with a smooth flow of words. Anubhab’s writing style is gripping and to the point making readers curious about what lies ahead.

The way the events take place is thrilling to read, especially their days in the forest. The characters are well-developed by the author. One can relate to their situations and their emotions. Be it Neil from the gang of kidnappers or Rittik and Ajay. Each of them had a unique personality and that reflects in their actions. While Rittik is a candid and fun person, Ajay is a planner and a serious person which made them best friends. The unsung hero of the story Neil had by heart. His actions say a lot about him.

The last few chapters are brilliantly executed with drama and unexpected twists, leading to a satisfying and dramatic climax that hints at the next part of the book. While we witness strong friendships, we witness that some things are done not out of duty or help, they are done for humanity and inner peace too. They had a choice to return but they stayed, risked their lives and almost faced death. This is one such story. Where the Way Never Ends is an engrossing read, brimming with drama and adventures that will keep you thoroughly entertained. If you’re in the mood for a light, fun, and intriguing book, this one should be on your reading list.
