Book Review:

They never become waves. They never make noise.
They form, play around and die. They form again. They are the Ripples.

I have read @authorameya Ameya Bondre’s previous work and have loved it. I was sure that this book too has that magic and was excited to read it. And truly it’s a gem. If you are someone who enjoys reading quotes, musings, and reflections creatively then this book is for you.

I loved the way it is curated. The colourful pictures bring life to the words. Page after page, you’ll love this book more. Each page has a hope, a memory, a moment, just like Rippling water, that formed and dissolved. These poems are like those small moments and memories.

Based on various themes like Friendship, Home, solitude, silence and lanes of Memories, it’s a book to treasure. Each poem is beautiful on its own. One could relate to the emotion.

The simplicity in his writing style and the way he expresses the emotions, makes me fall in love with his writing. It has quotes from famous writers, and poems where he challenges himself with limitations like there’s a poem with 5 words in each line, and there’s a poem where consonants are allowed but E, I, I & U are not.

While Poems like Those days will make you miss your old love, Whirring will make you feel race in your heart. Paris poem is written with Limitations (which is my favourite), Wind Chime will mystify you. Poems like Charm are powerful, whereas poems on Paris is about beauty of Paris, he also shares about when Paris lost it’s people. I loved that part too.

The poems are full of hope and harsh reality I would say. It’s a delightful read ,You can count on this beautiful book if you love reading poetry. A book to treasure.
