I enjoy reading historic fiction. A kingdom is not Ruled by one person, it’s a team effort and support. And this is one such story. Coming from Maharashtra, we have heard many stories of Shivaji Maharaj and Maratha Swarajya. The way he fought his battles, and the people who worked with him, each of them has a story and this is one such story. It’s a story of Bahirji Bandal and Sadashiv Naik, Raje’s Pramukh Guptachars.

@authorshreyas Author Shreyas Bhave takes the readers to the 17th century, the times when Shivaji Raje ruled, and the time when Mugal Subhedar Shaistekhan attacked and captured the city of Surat. Can Guptachars lead Raje’s army to Surat? Can Maratha Swarajya prevail? Not giving any spoilers, There were many questions and the author nails it brilliantly with adventures and mystery.

With an enthralling plot and crisp gripping narrative, Shreyas Bhave weaves an incredible story that will make you curious. The way the story starts and the events unfold will startle you. The way the mysterious duo works, the way things were happening, Shreyas with his words make the readers feel involved in the story.

With an intriguing writing style along with well-developed characters, It’s a well-researched, fast-paced story filled with mystery and adventures. It’s truly a page-turner read, not wanting to stop with the way the events took place, the way the author captures the reader’s interest with creative scenarios just like a cinematic way.

The conversations, dialogues and the way Bahirji nailed the task he was assigned, it was interesting to read. I loved Shashidhwaj’s role too. Especially, His conversations with Bahirji and the way he participated.

I loved the last few chapters, especially the climax, it was a perfect hit for me. What I loved most is the story was to the point, which keeps the readers excited throughout.

If you love reading historic fiction and stories from the time of Shivaji Maharaj, do not skip this one. I can’t wait to read the next parts
