Review:
Second serve by Aparna Agarwal is a story of Abhimanyu Walia a famous tennis player and Ragini Malhotra. A happy couple who parted of because of Misunderstandings. Will they be one again? Will Abhimanyu convince Ragini to come back? His career is at stake, how will he come back? A story filled with drama and love.
The plot of the story is good, filled with a twist. The engaging narration of the story with a smooth flow makes the story interesting. The way the author expressed a sweet bond between Ragini and her Mother in law is amazing. Various themes like love, friendship, heartbreak, are used by the author. How each chapter had a new challenge for Ragini, and the way she handled it, I loved reading it.
The simple and crisp writing style of the author keeps the reader invested in. I found it a bit slow-paced with many unnecessary details. The strong characters developed by the author captures the reader’s attention. I loved Ragini’s character the most. The way she did her job, the way she managed everything was good to read.
